What is it?
Parker Plaza in 09 apartments are a family enterprise of
David Parker and his son
Clint. Both are native to
San Antonio and have loved the area since their birth. David was actually born right down the road at
Brooke Army Medical Center. David’s father (Clint’s Grandfather) rests across the street in the
Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. David and Clint both played football at nearby
Alamo Heights High School, and are anxious to build a small, intimate, quality complex the folks in ‘09 will be proud to have in the area.
The project grew out of an idea from their banker —
Kirk McClelland of the First Commercial Bank — when he commented there was a great need for quality housing for not only residents of San Antonio, but also the dedicated Medical Trainees that come through San Antonio as they prepare for deployment to military medical facilities around the world. David will be managing the project and will also be the on-site tenant contact. Dave and Clint decided that every apartment will be a 3/2, and had to be furnished with a full array of appliances to ease the transition for folks on the go. The project is convenient to a multitude of services and activities and is within a 10 minute drive to the SAMMC center and also the unique cultural environment of 78209.
